"Road trip" Last photo shared by missing Abuja-based woman Charity Aiyedogbon

"Road trip" Last photo shared by missing Abuja-based woman Charity Aiyedogbon

Abuja-based mother of four, Charity Aiyedogbon (Deepdeal Chacha De Hammer) went missing since May after announcing on her Facebook that she was going on a road trip. Here is the last photo she supposedly shared with the caption: "Road trip DeHammer"

Anyone who may have seen her or spoken with her in the last 3 weeks should contact "Find Deepdeal Chacha Dehammer" on Facebook

Meanwhile, her disappearance is getting more mysterious. How could she have gone on a road trip without preserving the pot of soup she made or at least giving it away? See previous post here

Below is the post shared on the Facebook page created to find the missing mother of four:
"The lady in the pictures is Charity Aiyedogbon aka Deepdeal Chacha De Hammer on her Facebook page. She lives in Abuja and is separated from her husband David Aiyedogbon with 4 children who lives with their father. Charity has been missing since 9 May 2016 when she supposedly put out a blast at her FaceBook page that she was going on a road trip.
Her cell phones 08188881301 and 09031420216 have been switched off even though we have been able to ascertain from her phone records and obtained that the last originating call from her phone (08188881301) as traced was on the 9th of May, 2016, the no 08027786161 belonging to a Rabi Mohammed. The last received call on her phone for same day was from 08032180798; this has been listed on true caller as Amani Lounge.

A couple of friends went to her apartment; House 26, 5th avenue, gwarimpa, two weeks after no one heard from her and were able to gain access in the company of a close male friend, her landlady and some security personnel. The facts discovered were;
1. Her apartment was unruffled but no apparent packing was done for a trip
2. What appeared to be a fresh pot of soup which was now bad was on the burner, untouched
3. The gate man who also hasn't seen her said a gentleman came to install CCTV camera in company of a male friend in her apartment a few days after she went missing but when they tried to reach her, her phones were switched off.

According to a close friend, she was having CCTV installed because she had been receiving threats recently so we fear that she may have been abducted (but this cannot be confirmed as yet)
A report has been duly filed at the NPF station Gwarimpa, 3rd Avenue and to date nothing appears to have been done to ascertain her whereabouts.

We are calling on anyone who may have seen her or spoken with her in the last 3 weeks to come forward with relevant information. We can be reached on this page"

Photo: Couple arrested for trying to sell a 3-month-old baby

Ashley Harmon and Jonathan Flint have been charged with child neglect after trying to sell Harmon's 3-month-old baby for $500 to $1000 in West Virginia.

Deputies said the couple showed up at a neighbor's door and tried to get Carolyn Redden to buy the child. She refused, but took the child in to care for her. Redden did not want to show her face on camera, but she spoke to Eyewitness News about her efforts.

"Why have a child if you're not going to care for it?" Redden said. "Just because it is hard doesn't mean you give up on a child."

The mother ran away leaving the sick baby at Redden's home. The couple left one soiled diaper and a bottle of spoiled milk.

"I ran out and got diapers and more bottles for her," Redden said. "She was shaking, clinching her fists, crying and screaming."

The baby had diaper rash so badly and was so sick, Redden called 9-1-1. Her call to law enforcement may have saved the child's life. She gave names and descriptions to Fayette County detectives, and they were able to track down the couple and arrest them.

Captain Jim Sizemore said any case involving a child is difficult, but this case is especially rare.

"These are all of our children," Sizemore said. "I don't care what race, ethnicity or gender a child is. They are a kid. They are innocent. We will do everything we can to protect these children."

Redden's granddaughter Tonya Kessler could not wrap her head around someone putting a price on a child. However she said this baby was in the right hands.

"My grandma would do anything for anyone," Kessler said. "She is incredible. My question is, why are people like this having children? There are so many people who would love to have a baby and can't. I knew that baby was in the right hands when my grandma had her. She was well taken care of."

Fayette County deputies said Ashley Harmon has two other children she has left in another part of the state. They also said the baby's biological father had nothing to do with this. He did not know where the mother had taken the child. The baby is currently with Child Protective Services. They will decide if the biological father will get custody.

An 11-year-old boy created chaos on Friday, June 3 when he drove his mother's Honda Civic straight into a telecommunication shop in Taman Vistana Indah, Malaysia. It is learnt that the boy's mother had gone to a nearby spa.

In the car were the boy and his 12-year-old cousin, both seated in front. It was understood that the woman had left the boy instructions start the engine. However, instead of just turning on the engine, he inadvertently rammed the car into a shop in front. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The shop owner, Md Shaifon Nizam Ahmad, 35, who was away during the incident said that he was told by his employee about the incident around 3.30pm.

"Several of our facilities and accessories were damaged. But what's important is that no one was injured, including the two boys. Shaifon believes that the mishap could end up costing him RM20,000 in repairs.

Photos: 24-year-old Nigerian man and Thai woman nabbed in Bangkok with 8.5kg of drugs hidden in handbags

A Nigerian man and a Thai woman have been arrested after 8.5kg of crystal methamphetamine or "ice" were found stuffed into new handbags imported from China.

24-year-old Nigerian national John Anike Chinedu & Sawaros Nathawil, 34, were arrested separately in Samut Prakan and Bangkok.

John was arrested on Friday, June 3 while Sawaros on Thursday. Both were taken for a media briefing at the Narcotics Suppression Bureau headquarters on Saturday.

A total of 8.5kg of crystal methamphetamine hidden in 35 women’s fashion handbags were seized from them.

Ms Sawaros was apprehended when she showed up to receive three parcels at a car park of a condominium building on Srinakarin Road in tambon Samrong Nua of Muang district in Samut Prakan on Thursday. The parcels contained the 35 new handbags, stuffed with drugs, said Pol Lt Gen Rewat Klinkesorn, NSB commissioner.

Her arrest came after the NSB received information from Chinese authorities in Guangzhou that they had arrested an African drug trafficking gang and seized an invoice detailing goods sent from Guanzhou to Thailand by the suspects, said Pol Lt Gen Rewat.

When the woman arrived to receive the parcels, officers asked to search them and found the drugs hidden in the linings, said the NSB chief. Authorities then extended the investigation that led to the arrest of the Nigerian suspect at a rented room in Lat Krabang on Friday. A pack of crystal meth was found stuffed in a handbag found in his room. Several handbags similar to those found in the seized parcels were also found in his room. However, those handbags had earlier been slashed.

Pol Lt Gen Rewat said he believed the two suspects might be network members of the Nigerian gang caught in China. The seized drugs were destined for sale in Bangkok and Pattaya, particularly among wealthy drug addicts, he added.

The duo have been charged with colluding in smuggling drugs into the country with intent to sell. They were held in police custody for legal action.

TV personality Peace Hyde shares amazing testimony of survival

TV personality Peace Hyde shares amazing testimony of survival

Ghanaian TV personality and Forbes West Africa correspondent, Peace Hyde, took to her instagram page on June 3rd, to share the horrible incident she went through on that day last year and how she survived and rebuilt her life. See what she wrote after the cut...

"I woke up on the morning of the 3RD JUNE 2015 not realizing that I would be hospitalized BARELY holding on to my LIFE by the end of that day. I drowned and incurred horrific injuries in the Accra floods only 12 months ago. Doctors didn't know if I would walk again, this was the day the REST of my life CHANGED. From this day last year, EVERYDAY has been a STRUGGLE physically, mentally and emotionally. But as I look at this image I regain my STRENGTH. #FaithbuilderFamily unlike so many souls we lost this time last year - I SURVIVED!!!. I forgot the long list of wishes I ask God for daily and simply asked him to just simply to "LET ME LIVE!". My injuries from the flood caused me to be hospitalized for over a month with 13 metal staples in my back and 2 metal plates, I could not WALK without assistance. I remember the lives I saw disappear around me and I am forever THANKFUL to God. As long as you have BREATH

#FaithbuilderFamily we must keep going to be the BEST we can be! Your life is not only SPECIAL but there is someone who is SURVIVING due to your STRENGTH. Because the fact that you didn't die in YOUR struggles proves that you should ALWAYS be on a journey to become BETTER!. Never forget God is ALWAYS MOVING in your life. So many times we look for God to do an earth moving miracle right before our eyes. What we need to understand is God is NOT a genie in a bottle. Just because you don't SEE IT, it doesn't mean He is not moving for YOU. Maybe He SAVED YOU from a tragedy this morning and you don't even know it. Today #Faithbuilders as we remember all the victims and families of the flood, thank God for the miracles you don't even know of. If you are LIVING then you are a MIRACLE!...#Blessed #3rdJune2015
